Accommodation : Clients stay in shared room and stake responsibility for their own personal housekeeping. The treatment centre accommodates 41 clients across two facilities; one for primary alcohol care, the other for secondary alcohol care.
Ethos : Treatment for alcoholism in the real world. The clinic aims to help clients rebuild their lives, gain confidence and self-worth, and to believe they can live a productive life free of alcohol dependence.
Alcohol Treatment : The centre offers a 12 week abstinence-based primary alcohol treatment programme which is personalised to individual needs. Its programme combines a number of philosophies based on the 12 step approach and includes care planning, group work and one-to-one key worker sessions, as well as alternative therapies. An individually tailored alcohol detox is offered, if required. An optional secondary alcohol programme is available for graduates of the primary programme, to help them work towards a long-term recovery and to re-integrate them back into society.
Staff : A dedicated team of alcohol specialists who are committed to on-going training and development to allow them to offer the best level of care and intervention.
